Sum it up for me: What makes Mila Air Mini different from Mila Air?
In a nutshell, the difference is the size of the unit and the size of room it can handle (and the designer-approved colors). We shrank our original Mila Air down 30% by floor space, 40% by volume, and 20% by linear dimensions. This makes it ideal for rooms up to 714 ft2. Everything else you love about Milaâthe Automagic settings, the app, the detailed air sensing, the cheeky display messagesâis the same.
Please note that Air Mini does not come with a VOC sensor or pressure sensor.
Hmm. Should I get Mila Air Mini or Mila Air?
Torn? To help you choose, look at the size of the space you want Mila to go to work in. Mila Air Mini is best suited for rooms up to 600 ft2 (think bedroom, home office, etc.) Mila Air can handle larger spaces up to 1000 ft2, like bigger living rooms or open plans. Thereâs a difference of 2 inches in width and 2.3 inches in height between the 2. When in doubt, get the tape measure out!Â
Mila Air also comes with two extra sensors â a VOC sensor and pressure sensor.
Can I get a different filter with a colored Mila Air Mini?
If you go with any of our premium colors (non-white), you automatically get our most hardworking and popular filter, The Overreactor. If youâd like a different filter for your Mila Air Mini, youâre welcome to purchase this separately. You can also subscribe to have any filter delivered every 6 months through our Auto-Refill program.Â
Will my regular Mila Air filters work in my Mila Air Mini?
No, Mila Air Mini is petite enough to get her own specifically sized filters. Trying to fit a Mila Air filter into the Air Mini would be like trying to cram a hippo into a suitcase (not worth the effortâŚand itâs not going to end well).
Will Mila Air Mini show up in my Mila app?
Yep! If you already have Mila Air and the app, Mila Air Mini will be a seamless addition. Youâll pair your new Air Mini with the same app and give it a room name. Itâll be right there for you to check in on along with any other Milas in your home.
